Arashi Tokyo Goods

My first day in Tokyo on my Japan trip, I was at Sensoji (Asakusa Kannon) Temple, browsing all the small shops on Nakamise-dori with my dad, when I saw an 'idol' shop that carries JE/Asian boy band and girl group goods, etc. I made my dad hold my chocolate ice cream cone while I went in and looked. This is everything I made off with in about a ten minute period.
Some of it was gifts for but I had to get me some squee, as well. I was especially excited to get the maneki neko, or lucky cat, that they had in the Message from Japan tourism promo, as I've been collecting them for years, but this is an Arashi lucky cat.

The ice cream cone ended up melting all over my dad...

I think after a moment or two the man running the shop realized I was American, as he began talking me into even more stuff in English. He said, "We have new calendars..." so I bought each of us one. He even opened up the Arashi purse mirror I bought to show me you can change out the photos and that it came with some extra ones.

If I hadn't been pushing missing my tour bus, I probably could have spent way more time/yen there...

*the craziest/funniest Arashi thing I saw? Arashi correction tape (you know, the kind you roll over paper to white out your mistakes?) in Kyoto. Their picture was on the plastic case!---don't know if it's better than the 'regular' kind.*
