Description
The Daibutsuden is the largest wooden structure in the world, and it houses the largest bronze Buddha in the world. If you look closely, you can see just how large it is in relation to the people approaching the entrance. However, believe it or not, since it has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, this current building is only two-thirds the size of the original.
I must add, this was an absolutely perfect day to visit Nara.
